Model Meals

 

After a life-changing Whole30 experience in January of 2014, professional curve model Danika Brysha was charged with newly found energy and mindfulness, and wanted to share that feeling with others. She made it her mission to make healthy eating as convenient and delicious as possible, and in 2015 she fully invested herself in building Model Meals (a Whole30, Paleo, ready-to-eat meal delivery service) with Co-Founder Camille May. 

Danika and Camille reached out to RPM Public Relations for press and social media services, and we immediately fell in love with the brand and the people behind it. Through RPM’s nurtured relationships with press contacts in the western region, we were able to secure features with the likes of People Magazine, InStyle Magazine, Daily Mail, Shape, to name a few. And, to top it all off, we secured Danika a magazine cover booking and full page spread in California’s luxury read, CVLUX Magazine.

The rumors are true - The Model Meals team had the vision of going viral with their love for the ultimate superfood, avocados (if you’re not carrying a purse avocado, you’re doing it wrong). Obviously passionate about this healthy fat, Model Meals wanted to celebrate it to the fullest, and the idea to create its own holiday was born.  

National Avocado Day was founded at the peak of California avocado season, on July 31, 2017 and over the years the campaign has since grown to be celebrated across the country - even internationally! By utilizing innovative campaign strategies, press and media relations, social media coordination, and creative brand messaging, RPM Public Relations supported Model Meals in receiving global recognition from major brands such as Chipotle - leading to shoutouts from Well + Good, Fortune, People Magazine, The New York Times, USA Today, Good Morning America, and The Ellen Show. In the first celebratory year on social media alone, we received over 10,000 social media hits, reaching over 277,000,000 people (hello, world domination!).
